The Community Hospital Anderson Foundation was established to support the mission of Community Hospital. Donor funds are used to purchase needed equipment for the hospital and to make facilities improvements. Over the past few years equipment has been purchased for virtually every department in the hospital. Major facilities improvements such as the renovated lobby were all made possible by gifts from our donors.

The New Tax Scene for 2013
Congress passed the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 on January 1, 2013. The wide-ranging law affects taxpayers in a variety of ways. One key feature is the extension of the IRA Charitable Rollover for 2013 which allows many IRA owners to make a tax-free distribution directly to charity from an IRA.
The law will make an impact on how people plan going forward – including how they meet philanthropic goals.
