John Stemen, Omicron (Tufts University) ’99

Chief Executive Officer

John brings over 25 years of Fraternity involvement to the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation. He began his service to Zeta Beta Tau as President of Omicron Chapter while also serving as Secretary of the Tufts University Interfraternity Council. John continued his involvement upon graduation, working as a Chapter & Expansion Consultant for the Fraternity. Following his time on staff, he continued his engagement with and dedication to the Fraternity in several volunteer capacities, including Chapter Advisor, Supreme Councilor, and most recently as a member of the Zeta Beta Tau Foundation Board of Directors.

John graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2006. He was a practicing attorney for several years before moving to the U.S. Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service and then the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. John most recently worked for Secure Community Network, serving as the Director of Safety and Security at Hillel International, the largest Jewish student non-profit organization in the world. John is a native of Florida and now resides in northern California with his wife Liran, daughter Eliana, and son Ari.
