Ensuring a Legacy of Caring

I have served as a staff psychiatrist at Wishard’s Midtown 1700 Place for over 23 years. Wishard is my family, and its greatest assets are the people who work at Wishard Health Services on a day-to-day basis. These people are dedicated, hardworking, caring and passionate, and they accept all patients with open arms, regardless of their socioeconomic status. I have consistently observed high-quality care for the underserved and vulnerable populations of Marion County.

In order to thank my Wishard family and the organization that has given me so much, I choose to both give a donation now and a planned gift for the future to ensure that a legacy of our caring and hard work continues. I encourage my fellow physicians and Wishard family members to join me in making a commitment as a way to give back for the wealth of training opportunities and clinical experience Wishard has provided us. I also urge others to give to support the future of health care in Marion County.

When Eskenazi Health opens its doors in December 2013, a new era of continued service to the community will commence. I am excited for this new chapter. I don’t know what would happen to Marion County if Wishard Health Services didn’t exist, and I am comforted with the fact that I have helped to see our legacy continue.
